Ronnie Cooper
Director
Ronnie Cooper joined IFAS Facilities Planning and Operations in 2005 and has served as Senior Director of Facilities since October 2023. In this role, he leads teams overseeing core operational areas within IFAS Facilities, including Maintenance, Projects, Fiscal, and Human Resources.
Ronnie began his career as a Project Manager on campus before expanding his responsibilities to oversee projects throughout North and Central Florida. In 2017, he transitioned to Maintenance Superintendent and later became Associate Director in 2020. Over the years, he has led numerous notable initiatives, including the renovation of McCarty A 3rd Floor, the Austin Cary Learning Center, and the construction of the Bee Unit.
Dedicated to continuous professional development, Ronnie has completed LEAD IFAS and the UF Academy and is on track to graduate from UF’s Advanced Leadership for Academics and Professionals program in 2025. He is committed to fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment, valuing his team’s expertise while leading with integrity, transparency, and a strong focus on service.
