Steve Perry
Maintenance Superintendent
Steve Perry joined IFAS Facilities Planning & Operations in 2003 and currently serves as a Maintenance Superintendent, overseeing general maintenance operations across all IFAS areas in North Florida. He leads a team of 17 skilled professionals responsible for daily work orders, general building maintenance, custodial services, groundskeeping, and tree services. With a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and customer service, his team also provides essential support during emergency situations, including severe weather events.
Steve’s career spans a diverse range of industries and experiences. Before joining UF, he worked as an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor for a major retail store in West Palm Beach, FL. He then joined the Folding Shutter Corporation, where he gained extensive experience in residential and commercial construction, installation, and service work, strengthening his technical skills and understanding of complex building systems.
