Chad Doering
Associate Director
Chad Doering joined IFAS Facilities Planning and Operations in 2024 and currently serves as Associate Director, providing leadership for facilities management across IFAS. In this role, he oversees statewide maintenance operations, including regional maintenance superintendents and supervisors, building automation systems, warehouse operations, asset and fleet management, and the work order system. He also works closely with the project management team to ensure seamless coordination between maintenance and construction activities. Chad leads a large team of dedicated professionals who support the mission and vision of IFAS by maintaining safe, functional, and reliable facilities.
With more than 20 years of experience in engineering, design, and construction, Chad brings exceptional technical expertise and strong leadership to his role. For over nine years, he has served as the Director of Housing & Residence Life at the University of Florida, where his commitment to fostering a team-oriented culture has created an atmosphere of mutual support and collaboration. His dedication to excellence and his ability to inspire collective success are hallmarks of his professional journey.
